Amazon FBA sales invoices

I recently helped someone sell an FBA business. I researched the VAT issue. According to Amazon rules you do not need to issue a VAT invoice unless a customer asks for it. When a customer sends you a request for a VAT invoice then you respond by sending them an invoice through the Amazon messaging service.
You can't send the VAT invoice in the Amazon package to the best of my knowledge.
