After a UK Dedicated Un-managed Server

I am after UK dedicated (unmanaged) server with these sort of specs, equivalent or better. My budget is £60 - £70 per month.

These are the current specs of my existing dedi hosted in europe:

Intel® Core™ i7-920 Quadcore
incl. Hyper-Threading Technology

RAM 24 GB DDR3 RAM
Hard disks 2 x 750 GB SATA 3 Gb/s HDD
(Software-RAID 1)
NIC 1 Gbit OnBoard
connected at 100 Mbit
Backup Space 100 GB
Traffic Unlimited*

We dont do hosting, so am not trying to sell you anything, buthave to agree with WebHostuk

You are not going to get a dedicated server of that spec for £60-£70/month.

We use an exceptionally reliable and reasonably priced hosting company and their cheapest is:
1x Intel Xeon Quad Core CPU ( + HyperThreading For 8x Virtual CPU Cores )
2x 300GB 10,000RPM Serial-Attached SCSI HDDs in RAID 1 Configuration
16GB DDR3 ECC RAM
2000GB Bandwidth
and it costs £258/month

Why do you need a physical server? Would you consider a virtual machine if it had the same performance? I think you are going to struggle on that spec at that price.

As has been posted above, your budget is too low. You will find that most respectable UK providers will charge 3-4 times for that sort of spec.

As an example we would charge £233+vat per month for the following:

i7-2600 3.4GHz
24GB RAM
2 x 1TB drives with RAID 1 (Hardware)
10,000GB monthly bandwidth
100MBit NIC
100GB offsite storage

I've assumed you are after a Linux OS so haven't factored in Windows licensing costs.

but are not managed, so if you are not experienced in server admin could lead to a few problems.

Cromiem, how much storage space do you actually need? It might be worth considering virtual servers as they can offer more resilience... unless you've discounted them already for some reason?
