I am retiring shortly and looking to supplement my income from affiliate marketing. I have some experience and am creative but seem to fail on the web design side. Instead of implementing your own idea I would suggest you to have some sort of partnership with any1 having his or her own website.

Thanks for the offer to promote your services through affiliation. I have now teamed up with a local collegue with web building experience to pool our knowlege and see where it takes us in affiliate marketing. At present we are working around promoting major retailers, will certainly contact you should we promote web hosting in the future

It's easy enough to cloak affiliate links, but don't make much difference really. What you need is dam good SEO skills.

This one is cloaked http://www.alternativestoamazon.com/

This one is Not http://www.buymygifts.co.uk

But they are both only affiliate sites.

I've read affiliate marketing doesn't work out for 99% of affiliates. You might be better off thinking about what you could be a direct supplier of.

Think of something you'd be good at. Something there's a demand for, which you've researched. You might be suprised what skills or products you could sell.

Reselling ebooks and such is for the birds, in my opinion: lots of competition, low demand, low profit margin. And the merchant will take his time paying you.
