Hi all I am looking for some help and advice.
I started my own car rally business in May 2009 and am looking for affordable and effective advertising/ marketing solutions.
We have already had one rally and it was successful but did not pull the sort of crowds we had hoped for.
The advertising we had for that was a 4 month advertising campaign in a car magazine and had listed the event on car enthusiast website.
We are looking for new ways to get our name heard and noticed.

You need to look at PR as it will cover so much more for you in terms of media and it will probably cost you a lot less than advertising in the magazines.

Possibly a small mailshot to the local area.

Sponsor a local exhibition?

What budgets do you have in place for the promotion and how are you gaining your revenue?

May have some great ideas

Don't forget your Social Media! Creating things like Facebook and flickr groups can be a great way of obtaining custom for things like this.

It all depends on who you want to target, right down to the fine demographics. Take a look online at our website and see if there is anything interesting for you as we have some great budget ad spaces for sale. Send me a PM with exactly what you are looking for in regards to who, when and where etc and I will give you some advice on where best to look. Good luck
