Hey Guys,

I sell on Etsy. I sell photos The photos are different sizes, and I also sell the photos framed. At the moment I have one listing for the photo, and one for the framed photo. Obviously this is twice the amount of litings and fees. I'm debating having one listing with variations instead, My issue is getting the customers to the listing. At the moment from the image and listing title it's obvious that the item is either just a photo or a framed photo. I'm debating adding something like Framed option available in the title, but where Etsy shortens the amount of the title is shows in the searches I'm unsure.

Anyone in a similar position. What would you recommend.

Thanks

I've been selling on Etsy for 3 years. Separate listings for framed vs unframed is definitely the way. The search terms are completely different. Someone searching "framed wall art" won't find your unframed listing. Keep them separate and use variations for sizes within each.

A lot of sellers end up doing a mix of both. One main listing with variations plus separate listings for the versions that stand out the most. Didn't you think of that?

If you set your tags up properly they will.

Possibly, but if the one listing with variations works, I don't see the point.
