can i suggest a property development section for this forum?

There are very few property developers on the forum so a section dedicated to that business niche would be underused. Posting questions in the existing forums would elicit responses from experts in that topic.

As @fisicx already mentioned, the forums that exist at the moment are not industry specific but relate to challenges or questions that can relate in any industry. So if you have a legal question to ask about property management you can ask that in the legal section, or if you have a question about marketing your property you can ask in the marketing area.

It would not be viable here to have different forums for different industry sectors, we'd end up with an insurmountable list from clothing, gifts, gyms, hospitality, etc.

It would attract too many DIY landlords and toy empire builders in the same ways that the employment section attracts too many leftie trade onion questions
I always think the trade onion questions should be in te4h Vegetable section ?

Does the forum need a section for startups with an idea but no money, no marketing plan and no experience but all they need is an investor and it will make millions.

I guess the reality is property developers don't need the help of others, but can help others who are starting their first project.
They do. And there are loads of places to ask questions and provide help. It’s just that UKBF tries to focus on the type of question rather than the type of business.

Everything
They are big business people on a sunny Saturday afternoon in their new car and Boss t shirt
When it comes to paying tax and taking responsibility its always "Poor me I'm the one losing out"

*cough*

Erm - Jeremy Jeremy Jeremy..

We’re not all like that! I’m a private landlord, but it was only relationship circumstances that led me to that. I pay all tax due, I don’t moan, and you won’t catch me in a tacky Boss T-shirt or a new car.

I’m driving around in an 11 year old campervan whilst wearing my £70 Fred Perry polo shirt I’ll have you know!

AND I have my tenant some new batteries for his smoke alarm, so ?
