Webhosting recommendation

TSOHost have just announced they are end of lifeing our Gridhost platform so I need to find a new host. We don't have any 'live' websites as such just some testing and dev sites that we play around with. Can anyone recommend a good host that we can easily spin up some new wordpress installs etc? We've moved all our domains from TSO to CloudFlare so just web hosting to think about. Will be glad to get gone from TSOhost finally - we were Vidahost clients back in the day and every few months something happens with TSOHost that makes me think about moving. Glad they've forced my hand.

Recommendations welcome.

I had my ecommerce site on TSO Host for a very long time when the original owners would actually be the one supporting you on the phone when things went wrong.

Over the years things got worse and worse, the website was getting slower and slower, they decided to upgrade the PHP version without notice which broke my site. So last year I made the decision to move, which on a busy live ecommerce site is not a simple task.

I moved to IONOS, use one of their VDS packages and it's been brilliant.

The server costs me a third of what TSO were charging me. I have more CPU cores, more memory and more disk space and can scale that up at the click of a button if need be. The site is much faster that when we were with TSO

Over the last year we've had about 15 minutes of downtime. I can't remember the issue but support were brilliant and had things up and running again very quickly.

Just over a year ago we moved from Siteground as costs kept rising to Stablepoint and have never had a problem with them. Their service is great and when we have needed support its quick and easy to understand. No down time as far as I know. also. They use green energy to power servers which is also a benefit according to the website.

When you are looking for a good web hosting service, there are a few key things to look for. Reliability is one of the most important factors, as you don't want your website going down in the middle of a sale. You should also look for a service that has good customer service, so if you do run into any problems, you can get help quickly. Another important thing to look for is scalability - can the hosting service grow with your business? And finally, price is always a consideration - make sure you are getting the best deal possible.
