do you believe in destiny?

that doesn't make any sense, you say destiny has already settled down which implies that you can't do much to change it so how can we make our lives different?

I'm asking because something is not going well for me at the moment, it is not in business and I don't want to share it on here. I have been doing it for years but no success. Time for me to make a decision whatether to continue or pull the plug.

I think we all have dreams and fantasies but our time is limited sometimes it just takes too long.

Destiny is like all these other make-believe things we come up with as a race to remove the fact from our head that we live a set time, achieve little individually*, and rot in a smelly fashion at the end.


*The obvious exceptions I am well aware of, Im talking about us, the ordinary people.

Destiny insomuch as a pre-determined path is hokum.

Some people have a certain advantage through birth / opportunity to achieve a prticular goal or aim - but none of it is 'written' or pre-ordained.

To believe that your life is pre-determined is to enslave yourself to superstition and to rob yourself of the ability to grow and thrive.
