Advertisement on the websites?

Hey all friends,
Recently I built a small company with my friends from college in Shenzhen city of China, and our business is to help foreign customers, mainly from European and USA, to produce USB flash disk, tablet PC and some other electronic goods according to customers’ requirements, and at the same time we can also help to do factory audit review and pre-shipment inspection for our customers.
We want to promote our business and hope to cooperate with more foreign customers currently.
So I have planned to do some advertisements by internet. Although Alibaba.com and globalsourcing.com are famous in China, there are too many sellers on the websites. I believe the opportunity is very small for buyers to find my company on the two websites and the price for advertisements are expensive as well.
So can you advise which websites are more appropriate to find EU or American customers and keep long term relationship in future?
Your suggestion will be more appreciated.

Although I should say a directory advert will not help you to build a long term relationship with a client - a good working agreement and customer service is the way to get that.

Thanks for your suggestion. PPC may be a best way just like you said, and can you advise which serach engine is the easiest to be found by EU customers, Google or some others?

Google is your choice, there are adwords coupons available ($2-4 for a $100 coupon on ebay)
Its only valid for new accounts, good if you want to test waters.

Make sure you set the daily cap for spending, else you'll end up mortgaging your car/house to Google 'seriously'

If you have budget you should go for SEO plan. it would help your website to divert more customers. Advertise on Google, and other search engines. Advertisements on local search engines also helps a lot for attracting customers.

Thanks for your help. Yes, our business is focused on the dropshipping, and electronic products are my major field. We can manufacture the products regarding customers' requirements and also the existed products are optional for customers.
