I couldn't have said it better myself, these tips are very useful for new businesses and people thinking about setting up.

But be careful about copying someone elses entire article to somewhere else without permission, could be breach of copyright, usually small extracts are ok, but not entire works.

I used to be an article writer and I'd be hot on the back of anyone who copied my work this way. Got to remember in some cases people are paying for this content to enhance their page rankings in searchengines, so they're not happy when page rank is reduced because duplicate content appears elsewhere...perhaps drawing away their readers and ...at no cost to them.

Always best to check the terms of copying / copyright etc. on the site you go the info from.

It's also very easy to find copied articles, you only have to enter a few words into a copyscape search bar and all the duplicate content around the web pops up.

I'm speechless, the amount of crap articles on the web is amazing. All that list is, is a few bits thats been extracted elsewhere - its so obvious.

TV advertising for start-up businesses? my god do you know how much that actually costs eg: How many start-ups have £28k to waste, not many....

In 10 minutes, I can write an article where the tips are doable by most, low cost and work by using word of mouth methods.

I've written a blog post on how small businesses can market themselves online for free which hopefully will be of use.

I totally agree about the TV advertising - I would never touch it with a barge pole even if I had the cash - so many people have SKY+ and digi boxes they can fast forward through adverts now.
