I would like a bit of feedback please.
I am launching a high end product and need a virtual address, the thing is will a London address give more of an impression as people down south tend to look down on us northerners!! normally i wouldn't give a hoot but business is business.
Thanks for any replies.

I agree, if you are in Manchester put Manchester.

Its not trying to decieve anyone its how people percieve your business,i am very proud of Manchester but in business you have to do whats best for your business.

A bit of honesty?

What's dishonest about having a virtual address? My registered office is in Chester but I live in Newcastle and work from home. I don't see that as dishonest I just don't want to splash my home address on the web and hav to change my "official" address everytime I move.

In response to OP if you are targetting outside of UK too go for London, else Manchester is more than acceptable (in my humple opinion!).

My business is based in Salford/Trafford Park, albeit Salford Quays but still Salford /Trafford Park and it has never made a difference on how people percieve the business.
I understand that you want to do what is best for your business but if you have an address in London, even worse a virtual one, people will request meetings with there.
I get asked all the time, even more so lately since advertising in the broadsheets, can you come we meet in London and the answer is always no, the office is based in Salford, so if you are interested in the business you can come and see us.

Yes the product is strong but if a potential master licensee is looking at investing £50K plus with me I would expect them to come to my office and conduct some due dilliegnce on both me and the company,as well as see the set up and meet the team. If I was investing that sort of money I would want to see the company offices, wouldn't you?
