where do you trade, getting better!! do you know what's comeing down the line??![]()
We are 25% up on last years figures, and still growing. Some other trades in our game (wood Floors) are still hunting for work and they are suffering
Yes, the UK is going into a deeper recession. As warned by labour and the old liberals, if drastic cuts were made, it would send the UK into a double dip recession. Never doubt Gordon Brown when it comes to economics.
To make matters worst, the conservatives are only talking about making cuts in the public sector. What about the private sector i.e the banks which has cost tax payers billions of dollars. Its the same old conservatives, looking after their 'fat cat' friends.
why are you doing so well when the others are not? ie what are you doing RIGHT![]()

Currently the banks are making substantial profits and contributing substantial amounts to the treasury coffers which is why our debt levels at the end of the labour regime were not quite as high as Darlings original predictions. Why on earth should they make cuts in an industry which is still private not public. They are shareholders but in the main do not fully own the assets and have no direct say in the running of those businesses.

So the banks are making a nice profit out of the population and paying a fair bit of tax.
So I am having a bit of trouble seeing how that benefits anyone.?
Earl
You acknowledge that the banks are paying taxes and contributing towards the UK finances but you don't see a benefit to anyone in them doing that?
I'm not sure I am following you. Could you just expand on that please.
Many thanks
The less profit they make out of our population the better, we want them making profits from other populations.
I started my business in the 80s recession and got along just fine. It was probably keeping my head down, making hundreds and hundreds of phone calls, meeting lots of prospects and giving them what they wanted which made the difference! There is no process in a worry or a wish!
Regards to all
