Anyone else use KashFlow and OMC?

Are you as thrilled about it as I am?

My new website (still in development) is using the Open Mind Commerce cart, and I've got the trial of Kashflow and the Kashflow API and O.M.G I think I am in love! I am deliriously happy now that I've got it set up. A purchase is made in the shop and as if my magic the invoice and customer details appear in my Kashflow account

It is brilliant, it is all done for me in terms of the website sales. Obviously I still need to input my expenses but I'm thinking even that can be made easier by the Kashflow/Paypal api program when I use my paypal account to pay for some of my raw ingredients!
And when you break the price down per month it is definitely worth it for my time saved (and time is money afterall

)

We had an email this evening from another KashFlow/OMC user who is delighted with the integration. It seems Phil as done a sterling job of tieing the two together.

Would it be OK for me to quote you on some of the above for our Add-ons Page?

Hi, its really good to hear your comments regarding kashflow and openmind. I have already started using kashflow for my accounts and my website is due to be redesigned using the openmind commerce software at the beginning of April. I was hoping that the two working together would reduce some of my workload so its reassuring to hear that its working for someone else.
Was it fairly straight forward to set up? Im currently just using the basic kashflow, the api thing looks a bit scary to a non IT person like myself. I am hoping that between the customer support at openmind, kashflow and the web designer I will be able to do it (and failing that I will rope in hubbie who is usually fairly good at these things).

Yes I am using it and I also LOVE it. I had been looking for such a set up for ages.

Paula yes it is so easy to set up. You sign up for the api and the hard work has been done by OMC! You just enter your kashflow details and you are away. It really will save you time. I have downloaded and trialled a number of accounting systems and none of them seemed right. They were either too complicated to jump into or not really suitable for daily retail or website sales. I was trying to decide between entering every single customer (time consuming if the website gets busy, which I am hoping for!) or inputting daily totals which isn't ideal as it won't provide enough information.
This way, everything is done! No need to spend time learning the software and more impotantly entering loads of information by hand, just my expenses which I would have needed to do with whatever system I chose.
Until I took the trial I was wanting to use free or cheap software but now I can see that would have been false economy.
