Hey Guys,
Just wanted to give you a little how to for increasing your SEO efforts with shareable content.
Internal and external content is important but concentrating on internal blog content on your site there are a few practical tips you can use to quickly create a content schedule.
So your a small business owner? Take your niche and find your biggest player in your field, lets just say your a small stationary company so we might take staples.co.uk and run it through the following facebook development app:
http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/recommendations
On this page enter your desired domain and change the height to 2000 and hit enter. Then down the right hand site it will show you the most popular articles of the site (shared on facebook).
Pull all these out and run some analysis and see what has worked for them and plan your content around what they have done!
A second thing you might want to consider is using a google doc script to help you quickly generate content ideas. You can use the following script
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aj4U6wmYE1X6dDB5S1lDUXFzaTUxME5IRmJqZ2ozZGc#gid=0
Simply click on the link and login to your google account and click file then make a copy then in cell B3 type in a keyword and the doc will generate popular current titles from different feeds such are youtube and google news.
Hope that helps, any questions please let me know
Cheers
