Worldpay

We use Worldpay to transact our payments, both online and over the phone. The merchant services are provided by Streamline but seem to be getting charged a combined figure of 3.5%. This month our fees have totaled £2400!
Lately, we have been using the virtual terminal more than online so was wndering if it possible to cut out Worldpay and just use Streamline via a traditional PDQ machine?

It may be worth your while checking out the FSB. FSB Members enjoy substantial discounts on Streamline/Worldpay transactions and it may also help even if you still wish to use virtual online terminal.

this would not be PCI DSS compliant.

I too had the same problem with worldpay, although their fees dont seem to be expensive but when you total up at the end of the month it comes to, too much.

I changed to Barclays http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/business/accepting-payments/

You can integrate with your website and take mail order or telephone payments

Personally, i think you should switch from WorldPay. Research other payment providers with lower fees, i also hate the interface on WorldPay.

PayPal is very accessible but rates may be steep so maybe something like Protx would be appropriate or mals e-commerce
