Zulucart or Big Commmerce

Wonder if anyone can assist here

I spent a fair while setting up a ecommerce site with Zulucart this then got migrated to BigCommerce a few weeks ago

problem is new one - Big Commerce- is like a jet engine when all i need is a bycicle!!!

here is a similar site to what I had

and really difficult to change as all in html - the previous wass basically wordpress

anyone got any easy reccomendations as I have spent 2 months now trying to get this set up
I would happily move it all again to a simpler shopper site in uk

We use bigcommerce, it's very easy to use once up and running. We used a company called Aylis to theme a template just for us. They have also written extra code so we can have it function as we want. Dave is so helpful and might be able to help you out (prices are very reasonable). http://aylis.com/

If not could you not change to a Wordpress site with an ecommerce plugin?

My advice is you need a professional graphic designer and get them to produce you some stylish PSDs of homepage, category and product page and then take the plunge and go with Magento community version then.

I would highly recommend that you take a look at Bluepark Solutions. We are a UK based hosted ecommerce provider and all template design can be managed through the admin console by selecting colours, adding in font types, setting heights/widths and so on, rather than having to go into the HTML/CSS (although you can do this if you wanted to).

We offer a service to migrate your site over from another provider too, if you didn't have the time to do this yourself.

I really would take a look at opencart! It is a fantastic platform and you can get a full working site at a reasonable cost.

I've heard good things about big commerce, but if you want to go self hosted then I've heard even better things about Shopify.

I suggest you take a look at OpenCart as it allows users to easily extend the functionality for their needs.

We're also using bigcommerce and it is very easy to use. You just need a great designer to make you a stunning web design. There are tons of them out there.
