PRESS RELEASE
For Immediate Release
25th May 2010
Stand aside Facebook and Twitter because now there's a new kid on the social networking block. This week sees the official launch of Memfy (www.memfy.com), a brand new site dedicated to capturing, sharing and looking back on life's memorable moments.
Concept
No matter what your age, we all have treasured memories and special moments that we need to revisit and look back on.
They may be happy or sad memories or even funny moments that creep into our thoughts now and again.
www.Memfy.com allows members to record the dates of when events or memories happened.
You can add further details such as a photo or video which will bring your special moments back to life when you look back on them.
Privacy
You can keep your memories private or share them with others.
By remembering who was with you when your 'Memfy' happened you can tag them in too and invite them to tell their recollection of the event by adding a comment.
Choose to share your memorable moments with all of your friends or with just a chosen few or keep them totally private.
Background
Many months in the making Memfy is the brainchild of Anand Pajpani and Sudipt Shah who have been friends since University.
As Anand explains, we were discussing old memories and experiences since our time at University but found it difficult to recall many of them that we had considered important at the time.
The idea of having a place to record such moments and then look back on them in years to come seemed appealing, as well as to many others we spoke to about the project and so we set about forming www.Memfy.com.
Having both given up their city jobs to concentrate on Memfy both Anand and Sudipt have worked tirelessly over the past months to ensure the site is easy to use and different to the other social networks, like Facebook and Twitter.
We wanted to make it really easy for people to be able to remember those special moments. Whether its 5, 10 or 15 years down the line Memfy's search and filtering functionality will find your special memories quickly and easily says Sudipt.
Next steps
Memfy is FREE to join and getting started is quick and easy.
We all love to cherish our memories and now with Memfy we can do so as often as we like and reminisce these experiences with our friends and family too.
To find out more about Memfy and to sign up FREE visit www.Memfy.com today.
