I know this sounds obvious - but don't go for any "work from home" jobs that mean you have to pay money upfront.

Also, don't go for the "£100 for addressing 100 envelopes" type adverts - these are scams.

You have to ask yourself exactly how much you are looking to make. I personally like working from home, and earning a great deal. First have a plan of attack, then research the companies you are looking into, finally make a deciscion based on your commitment and time.
