I've posted a couple of times about networking and a few weeks ago decided to join BNI Turner which is in Morpeth. I've found it works for me and not just for the referrals that I've started to receive. I enjoy meeting other business people once a week and find the meetings very motivating. Admittedly the 7am early start is sometimes a bind but I only travel 12 miles to get there. There are some people who come from Shildon and South Tyneside!
Anyway, it won't be for everyone but I would urge you to give your local BNI a try. You can go twice before you have to decide you'll join and I think that will probably be enough to see if you think it is going to be useful for you.
If you want to come along to our group you'd be made very welcome. We meet at the Queen's Head every Tuesday morning at 7am. We are particularly looking to add more ladies to the group and so are having a Ladies' Day on August 11th, Have a look at
