Until the last day or so Windows 10 has been reporting itself internally as Windows 8. That has just changed.
If you program (like me) when you check the Windows internal version number so that you can store local files properly in UAC compatible format (in programdata for Vista, 7, 8, 2003 , etc but in the program directory for XP and others) then this may cause issues if you don't alter your code as soon as possible.
My first reported call was yesterday.
