There are shedloads of aircraft without reverse thrust. But the ones landing at LHR almost always do. If they didn't the runway would have to be twice as long.

My point was merely for information.

OK so if it was not for the reverse thrusters, the runway would have been twice longer. Well my system behaves exactly like reverse thrusters, except it is safer, which means the plane doesn't get backward shocks the same way happens for fighter planes on carriers. Additionally my system should reduce landing distance by at least the distance, which the wheel brake takes to bring the plane to standstill.

Prove to yourself and everyone else that it can work. Make a scale model of your plans and actually see for yourself.

Tbh when I was writing it I had visions of Swisaw trying to create a mini airport in his living room! I think this is a case where fantasy needs to meet reality, and if nothing else it will keep him busy for a while!

I don't have resources to make the prototype. Any one looks at the idea with an open mind, can not reject it outright the same way you do. You don't have to make a prototype. Each components of the concept has been put to test and work already in different applications.

I may not to see it in my life time but the system will be used in future as there is no an alternative way to meet the increased demands of air transportation. You can not continue to enlarge airports as air traffic volume increases. You have to stop somewhere and find an alternative means.

No I mean it you can test the basic principles of this very cheaply. What part do you think is difficult to test?

Have you ever tested anything you've invented on paper? If you've not I suggest you start, because you'll learn a lot more about the actual mechanics. As they say, every inventor needs a shed.
