Just curious to know why you joined and has your business benefited?

30 years experience of managing and running other peoples businesses and my own businesses, 15 years experience of running charitable organisations and projects, I thought I might be able to help others, even if only in small ways, so I joined as a free member and eventually as a paid member.

Membership does not help my current business, but I didn't expect it too as we run a very small retail business that is only relevant to our local area.

And I do enjoy some of the bullshit that some posters come up with - that includes YOU.

Well 10 years ago I thought it would be better to network 'virtually' and reach UK rather than plodding along in local networking meetings, not saying they don't work just not my favourite thing to do.

As it was mentioned by @stender above, I was looking for business forums in the UK as well. And UKBF seems to be the most active out of all the others. I'm learning a lot of new things from the threads, and trying to share some of my knowledge and experience with members as well.
