Ok, I just got done reading the thread on free advertising and lots of people suggested writing articles.
So my question to everyone is where should I post this article after it's written? Are there specific UK sites or are they general article directories?

Thanks in advance.

Put them on your own website. That's the only place they need to go.

People used to use articles sites but google has knobbled most of these.

The articles you are reading are probably out of date.

The more content on your site, the more likely people are to find your site. Once on the site, if the article is any good they are then more likely to move around the site.

You do not need to include a link to your site if the article is hosted on your site.

Yes it is worth writing articles. But only on your own website.

You get all the links, all the ranking, all the visitors and all the conversions.

Hi There,

As its been said above, the best place to post the article is on your own website. Then when you post about it say on Social Media, any click throughs will bring traffic ('link juice') right to your website.

The only time I would be considering to post anywhere else on the web would be if it were a Press Release and you were paying for a reputable website to distribute it for you. This means it would get seen by users/audiences that you may not be on the scale of targeting, so it's beneficial then.

I hope that's of some help to you! :)

The best place to put articles is on your own website. The more quality articles you have the more likely your website will show up in the search results. Just make sure they are all your own work and of good quality otherwise it's an exercise in futility.
