Hello everyone,

First, I am creating a brand for my new company. Its a perfume store. Spent lots of money for designing, website and product. Then, I feel hard and busy to start that company. So, I am about to sell it to anyone who interested.

My question is where and how to sell a brand?
Included email, domain name, logo, social media account (facebook, twitter and instagram). All of account these using a same name/username. Its a completed setup.

Thank you.

The value in the brand is not in the website, logo or all that other stuff you wasted money on. The value is in public recognition.

Till you have established public recognition of your name / logo / brand, you have zilch worth selling. There's lots you've spent money on, yes, but (almost) nothing that you can recover.

If you spend more money, this time on marketing, you may be able to get a penny or two return for each pound you've spent. My advice is that it's not worth spending the money you need to spend to find a buyer because the chances are a) you need someone like me who knows how to extract value from these assets ... and we don't come cheap and b) even with help the probability of sale is very, very low.

Ditch everything and consider it an expensive lesson you've learnt.

Selling the brand? Selling the perfume? Selling the business?

    selling the brand, without products.

Have you made a start to any of the physical sides to the business - suppliers of the perfume, logistics etc?

Or is it literally just a website, designs for your brand and social media accounts?

Contacted the suppliers for quotation only, not confirmed it. And Its a just domain name, design and social media accounts.

I hope this is not a selling perfumes brand, but what do you think is appropriate for a new start. :)

Thanks for the explanations. Great lessons and will learn from my mistakes. :(

All pretty much worthless. You have nothing of value to sell.

If you commit to inventory you are also going to need to create sales and build a database. Also demonstrate a longer term viability. Just having inventory added to what you already have is just a more expensive idea. Still not a viable business. Doubt you will get the value of the inventory back. Just more money and time wasted. It is a hard decision to make but if you don't want to push it properly to the next level then walk away.

A local online based candle seller hosts once a month in my gym on a stall and does very well.
But buying inventory isn't going to make the OPs brand worth anything... even selling a few items. He needs proven success and customer awareness and that will take time and effort which isn't going to be easy, especially when the OP says "Then, I feel hard and busy to start that company. So, I am about to sell it to anyone who interested."
