Where can I find a real Shopify wizard ?

Why Shopify ? I want the heavy lifting and updating done by this huge company, not reliant on Tom from Staines dot com who you can never get hold of or who simply farms out the development to someone in the 3rd world.

I want a UK based Shopify guru to take a sales website onto a Shopify backbone with a theme or customisation which suits my purpose.

Yeah that is a common problem if you get your site built by a freelancer who also has a full time job rather than an actual UK-based agency with all UK staff.

Talking to a new client recently who engaged a UK agency with UK staff but the actual work was farmed out to Asia.

Even the big agencies often use overseas developers.

Some do, some don't.

I used to use a lot of remote freelancers, especially initially after I started the company 15 years ago, as I didn't have office space and employing developers in the UK seemed too much of a risk.

But now all our developers are UK-based and it is so much better.
