What legal issues do you struggle with as a founder or small business owner?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project aimed at making legal documents easier for small businesses and founders. The idea is to guide you through which documents you need, explain what they do, and help you create personalised templates for your business — without the usual confusion or high costs.

I’m looking for feedback from people who might actually use something like this. Right now I’m still building more documents and figuring out what’s most useful.

If you’ve dealt with contracts, NDAs, or other business documents and would be open to giving some early feedback, I’d love to hear from you. You can message me here if you’re interested or visit Disputly.

I’m especially keen to hear where people think would be best to find testers for this kind of tool — any suggestions are welcome too!

Thanks in advance for any advice or interest.

LawDepot's Shareholder Agreement is poor. Firstly despite some attempts to localise (pound sterling sign) it still wants to know which State you live in and talks of corporations rather than companies which apparently have 'by-laws'. It gives as main intention to remove powers from the Directors and give more power in running the business to the shareholders! Lumps mediation and arbitration as the same resolution solution, breaching the fundamental principle of mediation being that the mediator, unlike the arbitrator does not determine the outcome. Lots missing such as providing a forced share offering by departing shareholders.
