What is the best way to encourage client for a trial

Hi everybody,

Our startup company developing automated and live chat web application.
We have limited resources to spend for advertisement.
What do you think the best way to make potential client register and give it a chance ...?
For example currently we propose 14 days trial, but maybe we should remove it and share some "trial codes" or something ... what do you think ?

P.S. if someone here interested in partnership i will be happy to get PM.

JonathanSEO, it's different product...it's an automated robot chat ( however live chat also possible )

TotallySport, Sure we use our website, but once visitor arrive we need to raise the chance he actually registers and uses free trial.

So it just responds based on my questions?

Like Siri but of the website chat variety.

This concept is flawed. The whole idea of chat is to speak to a human and have questions answered specific to your needs. So it won't work.

With the current web site you have no chance, the issue is to important and your site doesn't inspire trust or
explain anything anyone using it needs to know.

I've just tried the chat and it failed the second question.

I want to chat with a person who understands the questions I set.

If you want to encourage people to use the service you need a much better interface. It's hopeless on a mobile phone

JonathanSEO, you are pessimistic :)
It's already works and we do have happy customers...
My question was different, what is working best to convince a visitor to make a try

Realisitic :)

Look I think you look amateur with that website. I wouldn't touch it. The only way I'd use that is if it had a feature I absolutely needed and there were no other companies who offered it.

You have no value proposition. It's all well and good offering me a trial without a credit card but you don't tell me what your software does clearly and concisely.

You have happy customers, where are they? Get testimonials.

Your site has no credibility.

Also you need to fire Roberta or give her more training

The main goal of automated chat is to answer F.A.Q and to gather leads/potential clients.
Obviously it can't answer any question you have, especially if it's not in the DB.

You are promoting live chat so that is what I expect. I want the answer to my question about a product. If all you are offering is FAQ responses then it's pointless.

And please explain how this will gather leads?
