Well the are a lot of things I don't understand but here an example.
Two websites, Site A is dedicated to Widgets and has done for perhaps 10 years, Site B is a general blog been online for a few years.
Site B - has a page "how to value your widgets" just one page out of perhaps 10,000 on the site.
The phase "selling your widgets" gets ranked in google higher in Site B then Site A.
I see this all the time and although I can think my way into understanding why I still don't think that it's right in the sense that the Google customer would want to see A before B.
I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that site B carries Google Adsense Ads and Site A has no adverts.
