What date is it for re-opening 2nd or 3rd?

Hello, what date can we re-open?
The 2nd is the 28th day. But several articles say 'lockdown ends on 2nd'
Do they mean we can open on the 2nd or just that it's the last day of lockdown?
Does anyone know for sure. Thank You

The last minute of the 2nd, ie 23:59, is the last minute of it!

So, the 3rd. So it’s a swizz.

Thank you Simon. Wish they would say something like 'lockdown from 5th -2nd inclusive'
I've seen others advertising they are opening on 2nd but I had thought it was 3rd.

They are announcing what tiers people will be in on 26th, hopefully the postcode checker will be working again too.
