What course next????

I am in need of some advice here, I passed my AAT some years ago, and now I am FMAAT. I have been thinking about doing some more studying - but I am not sure what to do next. I do get really nervous and stressed about exams - so would rather one that is marked on course work (although I realised that this is unlikely!). I am also a mother of two, and have a part time job, and help run my partner's business, so ideally I would like a home study course (I know I don't want much do I ? :redface I have looked at CIMA and ACCA - but not sure if they are too big a leap up - I could do with some guidance and help if anyone has some advice to offer that would be great.

It depends really on where you see your career going.

CIMA tends to be industry, whilst ACCA is generally taken by people going into or working in practice.

Another option if you enjoy tax is ATT and or CTA.

Dont feel intimidated by the ACCA - its not that hard just a much longer slog than AAT. I can just about remember doing AAT and ACCA Eventually you just get into a routine of study and exams and you'll get there.

Lots of people have family comittments when studying so you wont be alone in that.

I was very lucky in that I never suffered exam nerves at all but really feel for people that do. You may just find that eases with time and simply doing more.
