Sorry only jusy noticed your post.

Basically Flyers are thicker, usually 300gsm so more like a postcard thickness, the extra thickness is ideal for postal drops etc as they go through letterboxes much easier without bending.

Leaflets are usually much thinner, around 130gsm/150gsm/170gsm, these are similar to letterhead thickness at around the 130gsm mark and 170gsm is slightly thicker and more like a take-away menu. As they are thinner they are ideal for hand-outs.

A friend works for noise.co.uk. I am guessing you have heard of them. I think they do similar work. Very interesting I must say!

I'm just starting up on my own after years of developing PC applications for a major UK company.

I specialise in custom software and database applications, mainly for Sales/Marketing users-
Sales Prospecting, remote salesforce applications, Sales lead databases, updateable website catalogues etc.

I've also produced stock control, accounting and other custom applications for small businesses.


I can also offer Microsoft Excel and Access training in the North Birmingham/Walsall/Cannock areas.


I'm hoping to get some tips from the forum and help other members where I can.

My name is Khalid and for the last 8 years I have been sourcing, manufacturing and importing products that are made in Hong Kong and China.
