They buy any car...im sure they dont have a massive stockpile of cars in their back garden and im also pretty sure theyre not green peace in disguise in order to get cars off the road.

What do they do with all the cars they buy?

They must be flogging them somewhere do they sell to dealers, put them in auctions or do they also own car dealerships?

Its a very good idea actually. They are part of a big motor super market. The crap cars go to auction, the gooduns go to the car supermarket. It's like an auction they are in control of. Cherry picking i'm sure it would be called. Who ever thought it up is one smart cookie. Not so good if you are desperate to flog your car and have to take their low valuation.

seems strange based on all the advertising they do, that must cost a fortune

I didn`t mean it literally. There are all sorts of deductions from the online offer price by the time you arrive to sell at the dealership.

I'm sure they are making a small fortune if the insulting offer they made for my car is anything to go by!:D

I am amazed that anyone sells them their car to be honest.

What are you expecting for a distressed sale...

Of course its going to be way lower than market value - just the same as the people buying houses with the same business model.

Not sure why people on a business forum think they're "taking the p*ss" or "ridiculous" - looks like a solid business model to me :D

A couple of years ago we sold our 4x4 to We Buy Any Car. They offered us far more than any other dealer had, including a 4x4 specialist. They also waived the admin fee and we had the cash in our account the next working day. It worked for us.

Enter your Reg number now at we buy any car, any, any, any, any

Has anyone actually entered their reg number? their prices are rediculous.

That's the part of the idea. They buy cars for 75-80% of what they are really worth and later they sell they in places like Carcraft, where cars are usually 120-130% more expensive, that anywhere else.

It used to be dealerships who would give you a below market price for your vehicle however these guys do it out in the open. As has been mentioned its a distress sale so its not them bent over a barrel.
