Looking much better.

You still have way too much blurb on the homepage. On a mobile the courses are way below the fold.

On the category pages each course needs a short intro. Suggest a title, intro and then the button to access the details.

The background appears to still be coloured. Really needs to be white.

Do some accessibility tests on the site (Google does).

What’s your marketing plan?

The header menu is a bit crowded, some of those items can go in a footer. The privacy, terms and social icons for example.

The white text on the lighter brown buttons don't have a good colour contrast ratio (could be a problem for people with vision problems/accessibility).

Also, heading tags (h1, h2, h3 etc) aren't in sequential order, and that makes Google throw a bit of a tantrum when it comes to organising the importance of your content, it's an accessibility thing again.

Hope all this helps :)

@Peacecloud Ltd The design of the category pages need a little more work. The user should get the information they're looking for as soon as possible.

I'd keep terms and privacy policy in the footer, let's try to minimise links and text as much as possible so the key information is there instead. Also, are you able to move the social icons to a different line of the navigation bar or move to the footer? It looks out of place.

    Couple of things:

    1. The outline of the wave background just doesn't feel like it works. Perhaps change it to a solid colour and remove the outline?
    2. The section on the homepage with the different courses will be an important one. Apart from the multi-course pass, there's no information about the other courses.
    3. In the above section and across the site, your buttons are large with the same sized text or smaller than the paragraph text. Either make the button smaller and use bold text, or keep the button the same size and increase the size of the text.
    4. The background wave banner you have placed in the title/hero area for most pages feels off-brand and out of place. Why not use an image or a larger wave that connects to the navigation menu so it fits together?

From what you first shared, this is a great improvement so far. Well done!

I completely agree and have removed the waves from the site. Some information has now been added about the different courses. I still need to look into the font sizes.

However, I've figured out why the LCP value was so high. It turns out that Squarespace uses custom fonts, I changed the font to Georgia site-wide as this is a standard font and the LCP times seem to have gone down (the ones on Core Web vitals are apparently on a 28 day average)

Just checked in to your site, @Peacecloud Ltd - and wow, I've got to say... what an improvement, it feels like a completely different site now. It's gone from poor to OK, and I think, well at least I think, you'll take this as a start of constantly improving your site moving forward.

The bigger font looks a lot better. It works well. I think there's a couple of alignment issues I can see with blocks/sections that look out of place - at least on desktop version! I think we should do with some more spacing between blocks/sections on the homepage. Not too much, just a little more. Spacing is a great way to separate information.

For the course and pass pages, I think the re-design works well. In my opinion, I think you need an introduction section at the top and a call to action at the bottom. Perhaps to you as the Instructor, reinforce your authority to web users or to a specific offer you have.

With the updated layout you have for the courses and passes, as I mentioned I do think it works better. Although, I think to take it to the next level you need take on my feedback... remember spacing? alignment? Make sure it's all centred if that's what you're going for. I think icons or images would work great in that section.

    Perhaps a two column block?

One side has the course information, for example with the cyber security courses, have an image or icon, headline "cyber security", a mini-introduction, and key information that would be helpful to know upfront. Then the next column has all the buttons to the different courses.

If I was designing your website, I would go for a mid-blue colour. Or perhaps a bright colour blue with the muddy mauve colour you chose.

@Peacecloud Ltd - whilst the website is much better it still needs to sell courses.

Having to create an account is a showstopper for many. Keep it simple and just allow people to pay for the course. You can then offer an upgrade which is membership.

You also need to consider the path someone will take to access the site. Your marketing plan will dictate the structure of the site and the content of the course pages.

I've added a Quick Purchase button to the homepage for the site-wide pass. I am also looking at options other than Squarespace for the future as I agree with what a lot of people here have said, there are definitely better options out there.

I'd recommend staying away from any of the template builders (Wix, Shopify, Weebly, Duda, etc.) as they all suffer from similar issues. You need an open source platform like Wordpress/Woocommerce and your own hosting plan.

Good stuff. But you need to do the same for each course. And then upsell packages. Then offer single use and multi seat options.

All of this you can do for free with the numerous Wordpress plugins.

    It's getting there, @Peacecloud Ltd!

I like the title, "Who are our courses aimed at?" section on the homepage and "Why learn with us?" - it works well for the user... Am I the right person for this course?

Keeping working on the spacing between paragraphs and buttons, and between sections. On desktop, it still looks a little messy.

I still think you need a full CTA section at the bottom of every page, instead of the plain text, just before the footer area. At the moment your footer area is rather small, with links to just Terms and Privacy Policy. Add your main links in your footer, contact information, and perhaps a newsletter form or offer?

That’s a pity as it had great potential. Far more than just using udemy.

All it needed was a bit of rework on the structure and means of access.
