virtual office in Manchester

Hi Guys

My name is Slawek. I'm new to this forum, a friend of mine recommended it to me. I've been wondering if someone could answer a couple of questions I've got.

I'm self employed and I'm thinking about opening up a new business. Its going to be an online business. I'm based in London but want to have my office in Manchester. To cut cost I was thinking about going for a virtual office however I'm not sure how its going to work with some things.

1. Can I open up an bank account in Manchester using the virtual office address or it would have to be in London where I'm registered as self employed?

2. Could you recommend to me some good and relatively cheap virtual offices in Manchester?

What is the main reason you want a Manchester address?

If you are trying to keep costs down, think about using a virtual assistant, they offer mail forwarding, and if you can find one in Manchester (shouldn't be too hard) you'll have your address.

I'll be doing some art work from my home. I predict that some of the clients would be asking me if they could be present while I'm doing the work for them. I dont want to show them I'm running this business from home. I dont want to advertise that this is an online business either as this may results in getting less commissions. My idea in this case was to hire a virtual office in Manchester in hope that this would stop the London based clients (that's my main market) getting an idea of coming over to me.
