Evening everyone, I hope you can help.
I leased a vehicle and on the lease ending the contract states that the leasing company will have a collection agent contact me to collect the car. This never transpired and I tried to call the company many times and was out on hold for literally 45 mins so gave up.
I received my 1st correspondence from them 3 months later via email to which I immediately responded to have the car picked up.
My question is the leasing company are trying to charge me for this out of contract hire and I am disputing this as it’s their responsibility to organise collection via their agent as per the contract. I have also submitted mileage proof the car wasn’t used from the last service till the point it was collected as well as my new car delivery order.
Where do I stand with this?
