VAT on new build

Hi There,

I am aware that if you erect a new build home to live in then the builders should charge zero vat. Is this the case for plumbers working on the new build doing the first and second fix?

Hello there

With questions like this, the devil will be in the detail, but yes it is highly likely that the plumbing works will be zero-rated - assuming the building is not habitable until after the second fix
