I am looking to purchase a new van and wont be driving it my self. Are the insurance policies that cover multiple drivers that expensive?

Just tried calling an online company but after waiting 5 minutes on the sales line makes you wonder what it will be like if god forbid you had a claim.

We are planning on having self employed contractors driving the van so ideally the insurance would not be tied to one person.

New to vans/van insurance

thanks for any advice

5 minutes wait? That's pretty good. You get what you pay for. You aren't going to get a cheap insurer answering in 10 seconds!

Its pretty standard to get "anyone over 25" insurance on commercial vehicles. I think Norwich union may do it. My van insurance through Aviva - they were very helpful, but to save money it is just me insured. Direct line also aimed at businesses. Otherwise try a broker. My experience, online sites dont use the information you provide properly especially for what you want.

I think you would be better just talking to Coversure like in the old days
They would be able to help it looks like you will only be carrying tools So your requirement would be straight forward
