UKBF Site Down a Lot?

UKBF has been mostly down since Friday tea time for me - and has only just come back online.

I know it is not a problem my end, ISP etc - I can surf the net just fine.

This is a problem I have noticed intermittently - but it seems to be getting worse and happening more often?

Hmmm, interesting, The Forum went down again for me about 15 minutes after starting this thread - and has only just come back???

I tried IE7, Firefox, reboot PC, reboot Router etc - and all other sites i visited today were fine.

Now RayB is confused (which does not take a lot - before anyone else mentions it) :)

We are currently aware of a problem regarding 123-reg nameservers which in turn is affecting the visibility of websites and services such as email. At present, we have engineers looking into this as a matter of urgency. Please be assured we are working to rectify this issue as a priority and hope to resume normal service as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience in the mean time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Guys, as kent points out, It's not UKBF, it's the company that manages their domain -123reg.co.uk.

Their name servers are fcuked and have taken many thousands of sites down with them. FSB was broken too.

Yep, /me been unable to access UKBF this weekend either.
I have to take part of the blame for the domains being on 123REG, it was for ease of transferring the domains over to Sift when they took UKBF over from me. They were planning on moving them from 123REG "soon", but I guess it may move up the priority list now :)

Bend over and prepare to be flagellated (spelling?) - it is only fair :D

    Hi all,

Crikey, what a weekend, really sorry for the frustrations, and as Ozzy says, we will be moving UKBF from 123reg as a matter of urgency.

Half the problem in getting this sorted sooner is that I haven't yet got an internet connection at home (just moved), so I was a bit out of touch.

    Sorry again all,
    Darren
