@blundens, just looked at your site and at all sure what it is you do. Maybe get a marketing expert on board and you won’t need to use someone like Uk professionals.

Thanks @fisicx, @HFE Signs. For clarity, we are a Microsoft Solutions Partner that specialises in System Development and Data Solutions. Our services are delivered as 'project services', augmenting customers capability with our own in-house solution experts to deliver digital transformation.

I appreciate the feedback on expanding our Marketing effort, but I was more looking for feedback on those that have used UK Professionals as a platform to generate leads and customer referrals.

Never heard of them. And a google search doesn't help. Which might be an indication of someone to avoid.

Nope. Still doesn't help. Maybe your target clients do understand what that means but I suspect many won't. Which is another reason why UK Professionals might not be the best source of leads.

Can you put that in a way most people will understand?

If you are looking for techies (who probably can do what you do) then fine. If you are looking for business people like those who hand around here (and 99%+ of others) then you need to get your message sorted.

I have taken this on board.
Most of the site is in the same state. Unless you know what these MS products are and how they work then it probably makes sense. For the rest of us it's very confusing. Think about it like this: nobody wants an AI driven chatbot. What they want is fewer chats and more conversions. Your job is to make it so they don't need a chatbot at all.

I guess you're referring to Professionals UK? https://www.professionalsuk.co.uk/ - kind of Check-a-trade for professionals, but with far less marketing budget.

The fact that nobody here has heard of them might in itself be an answer to your question.

When approached by anyone offering 'leads' the first thing I do is open a discussion about what they mean by 'leads' - which 90% of the time sends them away.

It can't hurt to be a free member - something might happen, however the message on here is valid - it is essential that you communicate to your customer, in their own language, what you provide & why they want to use you.
