Hi all
Not posted in ages so hoping there are still people who might be able to help or shed some light.
I've been researching available grants for business and one thing led to another and I expressed an interest in finding out about a particular company called UK Business Funding Centre www.ukbusinessgrants.org A lovely lady called Helen called and told me all about the many grants and interest free loans available and that some companies have been given £000s for things such as decorating, recruitment costs, marketing and all manner of other things. Ok, so all sounding good so far. They'll send me a link to activate on their site and then I can start applying. I'll get a whole year to apply for as many different grants as i like and the nice people at UK Business Funding Centre will eb there to help guide me through the questions in order that I'm as successful as possible in my applications. Again, all sounding good.
So here's the rub. They want £349 up front in order to release my login details to me so that I can start applying for grants. The good news is that if I don't get accepted for any grants in the first 12 months I will have the £349 reimbursed to me. If, on the other hand, I get accepted for any grants I simply have to post a testimonial on their website and they'll refund me the money as a thankyou for providing a testimonial.
So the question is has anybody come across UK Business Funding Centre and if so what are your thoughts? Are they legit? Did you get the grant you applied for? If you didn't then did you manage to get your money back.
