Wondering if anyone has any experience of this problem:

I recently liquidated co ABC and fully understand that I cannot be involved as a director or otherwise in any company which is similar to abc under the 216 ruling. However, I have a trademark assigned to me, which does and doesnt (I have 2) have abc in the logo, am I allowed to use it?

If your company has been liquidated the trade mark, if a registered mark is now the property of the Crown. You can buy it back but it belonged to the company and it died with it.

Hi Fred thanks for the reply, but the trademark belonged to me personally and was leased to the company

You need to be careful is the answer - it may be worth you following the process required to allow directors to continue to use the company name
