That's me done for the day :D I filled two skips with rubble this afternoon and my back has gone on strike :D

Have a good one ......

Bloomin' woofter - dug out 1/2 ton of concrete by hand today and I've not got a single ache or pain.

But then, Tesco's current 1/2 price offer on Jacobs Creek could well have something to do with it :D

Could very well do ..... I've another skip to fill tomorrow.... and then the back is ready for it's makeover.

Then the real fun will begin with 'er indoors -

''no, not there, over there''....

''I know you just spent the whole day building it dear, but I dont like it there now, Ive changed my mind...''

and my personal favourite '' I really dont mind, dear, I really dont, what do you think.... followed by... that's the stupidest idea youve ever had, and gord knows youve had many..''

:D

I learnt long ago the secret to a happy marriage is to always make sure you have the last word - so long as those words are 'yes dear'

I blame you lot for being so riviting :D:D:D

I shall wish you all a very good night now, as Im away this afternoon until Sunday night, and I need to get that darn skip full before we go :D

One of mine has organised a girlie weekend away with 8 of her mates. Myself, Mrs Parthelan and the MIL are providing adult supervision, discreetly in the background.

Ive taken delivery of 800 sandbags, 500 yards of barbed wire, and a dozen highly disciplined guard dogs, trained to go for the testicles when they hear the words ''Ello Darlin'.....''

Yeah, that ought to do it :D

Impressed! (not with your son though lol) :D

I speak Dutch, Persian and basic French. Teach my son a lot of it, he does Spanish at his rubbish school too, amazing how fast they learn though.

How old are your daughters?

Desperate to crack Mandarin but its just TOOOO hard! :(

So you have nine children? Gosh! Was it difficult to manage when they were young?

They're difficult to manage now !!!!! :D

We both come from largish families - me, 7 brothers and sisters, my wife, 8 brothers and sisters, so it was always odds on we'd have a large family. Being tight knit families on both sides we've always had loads of help.

In fairness to her, my wife to be did warn me when we went a courting she comes from a long line of very fertile women. She wasn't joking - it got to the point I was scared to say the word ''sperm'' out loud when doing biology homework with the kids

:D

I'm one of seven myself, still not completely sure how my parents managed to keep a lid on the chaos of our house, especially at Christmas!

We realised a little while ago that grandkids could be on the way in the next couple of years, and it would mean there has never been a time, ever, when there hasnt been kids and chaos in our home :D

We wouldnt have it any other way :D

Sounds like our house when I was growing up...many a time when it came to family gatherings did I ask if I could have a tent in the garden to get away from it all! :D

Snap! Also one of seven.

We were easily controlled. We were just thrown into a room with toys, the door locked, and we were only released so we could eat and sleep, then back into prison again. :D
