You might be interested to read this book by Tim Ferris - all about creating a self sustaining business with minimum time input. Very topical and relevant to modern web business practices. I enjoyed it!

I am about half way through reading the 4 hour work week and have enjoyed it so far,

The book concentrates on how Tim Ferris set up his business around a 4 hour week but the idea is to take the concepts, adapt & apply as many of them as you can them to your own business.

I haven't read the book but is it the one where he only answers emails on a Friday afternoon?

I got hold of the audiobook, hours of audio for a concept that can be explained in a single paragraph. Just another one of these 'lets take a simple concept, turn it into a book, market the hell out of it' and sell it, nothing revolutionary imho.

I've been reading this one too. I think there are some good concepts in there but there are some businesses that they are not going to be relevant to.

Also, so far it sounds like he has no family ties to hold him back so he can afford to just drop everything and disappear, whereas the majority of us probably have partners and families to support!
