Hi everyone,

I'm from Belgium I was selling on eBay but my account got blocked after few months of activities..
Reason: As a non-professional seller, I sold to much, they told me that I had to provide them a VAT number...

For this reason I decided to open a limited company based in UK, considering I already have an physical address in uk. Can you confirm if with that kind of company i'll be able to run my business online without any problem ? If everything works fine, I'd run a eCommerce website

You would probably ask why I don't open a company here in Belgium, the main reason is that here in Belgium, I need a special authorization that's bit hard to get if didn't study accounting...

Thanks for your help,
and sorry for my english

For smaller product lines paypal is probably the best route as it means you only need the code for each product to insert in to your site and this eliminate the need for a extensive ecommerce site. If you need a shopping cart integrated into your website it will be much more expensive and elaborate and will probably need a secure host too.

If you're selling service or non physical products you may need something lie pay point or world pay to take secure payments online. Paypoint takes a small fixed fee rather than 3.4% of the transaction plus the 20p that paypal wants.
