Spam and Sales Calls

Is it me or is there a huge increase in the amount of phone calls and spam thats getting sent out ?

Today had a phone call from 'The Police Federation' trying to sell advertising space, he actually sounded really convincing and when I asked for an email from the police federation he said yes 'of course sir' and just hung up ! This is the 2nd Police type call ive had in the last weeks. So be on your guard as he sounded very very convincing.

Everyday we have at least 3 phone calls and 10-20 spam emails, was hoping that spam and fraudsters were going into decline but with the credit crunch I guess we are going to see an increase in these activities.

I've seen at least 3 other threads regarding this police federation scam, so it must be pretty widespread. I just put the phone down on 'em.

Sales and spam agencies shouldn't call you if you have signed up for TPS

I wish we only had 10-20 spam emails, put a 0 on the end and you get close to ours.

Shouldn't - but still do.

(I admit nowhere near the number that used to though)
