Software or plugin to extract data

This is going to sound like it's for spamming purpose, but I am telling you it's not.

I am looking for a software, better if it's a browser based plugin, that will allow me extract information from a website, e.g domain, email, phone, address etc.

This is NOT for link building or spamming purposes. I have sales people who will be prospecting some niches, and they will visit website to find out a bit more info on the company. They will sometimes have very little information on that company. So sometimes they will manually copy and paste information from the website. It would be great to have a software that could extract information, not on mass, just one by one, and to be able to export that in a file format like CSV, to import into our CRM.

I don't know if this is an unusual request or not. Can anyone help or advise?

But if you were listed in the YP and someone contacted you, entered your details isn't that the same thing?

It's cold calling whichever way you look at it at some stage and it goes on daily.

Don't be ridiculous. You don't need their permission, they're a business, you can do what ever you want with the data. How do you think google, yellow pages and any other business work?


To the OP, some crawler like this can be done but may be unaccurate. How does it know what the business name is and what the correct address is? There are so many different ways of dispaying content on a website it would be very inaccurate.

There is a chrome plugin that scrapes email, address details and tel number etc from a website but only if you are viewing the actual contact page with their details on view. But sorry I can't remember it's name!
