im looking for any available downloads that contain the format for preparation of small company accounts and notes

try getting an accountant that knows how to do this, will save you time and money.

Small firms like mine can do this for around £150+VAT - £250+VAT....larger firms can do this from around £500-£1000+VAT ....both are worth while when it comes to the hassle of trying to DIY a very complex document!

What does the fees you mentioned cover?

£150-£250+VAT.

This is to take your records from whatever level you have them, produce final year end accounts (including all the adjustments needed), prep of abbreviated and full financial statements and completion of ct600. Price also includes self assessment for one director.

We usually set-up a fee in the region of £300-£350 to cover all the above and PAYE year-end and running monthly payroll for sole director.

I wouldn't have thought so. I can think of quite a few of my clients who'd start crying if I gave them this and told them to fill in the blanks.
