Short term employee liability cover

Hi All

My son has agreed to take his younger brother on Work experience for a week, amongst other things the school need to see Employee liability insurance in place.
So I contacted his current provider where he has public liability but apparantly they cant provide just 5 days cover only per year when I queried that they said that's the norm! But I'm not sure, so before I shop around I'd thought I'd ask here.

Sorry, your son works for a business that does not have employee liability insurance????

Yes that's right he's just started out on his own so has no employees yet.

I've just Googled Employers Liability Insurance and it comes up at £32 per year.

Don't know what that includes or whether it's suitable but it might explain why 5 days isn't long enough to make it worthwhile for the insurer. ......0.78p
