Hi all,

We import Japanese kitchen knives to the UK and recently we've had DHL and now FedEx say they're no longer allowing the import of knives into the UK. I fear that UPS will follow suit soon and Japan Post already don't permit the shipping of knives so we're finding it extremely difficult to figure out how to actually get the knives we sell into the UK now.

Desperately hoping someone with more skill in this area is able to advise us on what other options we can look at.

Generally we have very small shipments (1-3 boxes around 15-20kg each) a few times a month. Normally we've been shipping by air with FedEx but this has abruptly been stopped without notice.

I'm open to all options and recommendations, we're not shipping zombie/flick/gravity knives or anything . Just standard shape and size kitchen knives.

Many thanks

Ask your suppliers. You won’t be their only customer and will have local knowledge.
