We're struggling to link our google Ads and our Website when it comes to tracking conversions. I have added the code however no changes seem to occur. Does anyone have any experience setting conversions up on adwords?

We use DiviBuilder on Wordpress.

Is this on the BCPsoftware site?

If so you don't seem to have Google Tag Manager of Google Ads global site tag installed, you wont be able to track visits from ads and attribute them to anything without this on all site (or at least PPC landing) pages and the lead/checkout conversion journey/thank you page.

You can use the Google Chrome Tag Assistant to view pages and see if the relevant Google tags are working.

Yes....are you running Google analytics? Are you showing conversions in analytics for any traffic, or is it just GoogleAds traffic that is presenting the problem?

Hi, Thanks for your reply. It is just google ads where the problem is occurring. We do run google analytics with conversions running, could their global tags be clashing?

Hi, Thanks for your response.

Yes! we have been trying to use the global tags for a while now but I've never been too sure if they're working or whether or not I am putting them in the right place on the site. The chrome plugin you sent will be a massive help. Thank you for this.

When you say "google ads site tag installed", it is this I'm struggling with. There have been multiple occasions I have implemented this tag, however, no response.

No, Google tags don't interfere with each other.

Yours isn't there at all and the main tag needs to be on all pages, the relevant conversion tags on thankyou/checkout completed type pages.

Google ads conversion tracking for onlilne conversions would be easier to implement using Google Tag manager as it comes with "Preview using Google Chrome Tag Assistant plugin" .

First thing I would do is to see if tags/events are fired up as per desired conversion actions or not. So, while you are in preview mode just try to perform conversion action and it will show you which tags/events are being fired up. See it in action here -- (Sorry could not post links due to forum policy) But there is a good video on youtube "How to track conversions with Google Ads and Google Tag Manager in 2021"

If you see that's working then few things to review:

1. Auto tagging option
2. Configuration/mapping of conversion action with the campaign etc.

If you are trying do implement offline conversions then it is a different story!

Hope it helps!
